The company completes five years of having attended this event by 2011. Call recording solutions have been provided to the Broadsoft community by the CTI Group from a very long time.
As a leading developer of telecommunications solutions for fixed, mobile and converged communications, the commitment of CTI Group to provide new and improved solutions has grown in the segment of hosted VoIP and call recording. Solutions from CTIG are included by Broadsoft service providers in the products offered by them.
The release of SmartInteraction Suite adds reasonable strengths with the increase of ARPU. The SmartInteraction Suite offers a comprehensive platform to record, evaluate, and take action on valuable customer interactions based on phones.
In a release, Sid Rao, CTO of CTI Group, said, “We conducted surveys from our contact center customers to receive information on features and functionality expected by them from our communications management system in the entire development lifecycle of the SmartInteraction Suite. It is essential for us to deliver solutions that cater to requirements beyond the initial needs.
Dawson, who wins the IP PBX Workhorse of the Week award, also reported that Whaleback Systems, Inc recently celebrated five years of support to U.S troops with free phone service. It provides a permanent stock of service phones managed by CrystalBlue’s mobility solution.
Soldiers can use these phones to call up their loved ones in any part of the world free of charge. The troops passing through Pease International Airport in Portsmouth, NH on their way to or from Iraq, Afghanistan or any other areas of conflict in the world are welcomed by Pease Greeters. Whaleback Systems is a sponsor of this organization.
In a release, Karil Reibold (News - Alert), CEO of Whaleback, said, “We started as a simple donation which has now grown into a full-fledged program. It’s a privilege for us to continue to thank our troops by this way. Heartfelt gratitude is shown to us by the soldiers and everyone involved as we plan to build on this further.”
Back in 2006, an emotional thank you message was sent by a Marine’s wife to Pease personnel for having lent a phone to the soldier to call her up as he passed through to Iraq. This triggered an idea to Whaleback and Pease Greeters. A few phones were provided by Whaleback initially and it has now increased the system three times in size. Troops stop by the Whaleback phone bank with all phones lit up and used constantly with the arrival of flights.
This phone back falls under a dedicated telephone area Malinda’s Room, which is named after the wife of USMC’s Caption Smith.
And Calvin Azuri wrote that Polycom, Inc., provider of standards-based unified communications (UC) solutions, announced the debut of Polycom SoundStation Duo, a new conference phone that has been designed with dual functionality enabling it to work over analog networks and Voice over IP (VoIP) environments.
The latest release from Polycom has been developed to future proof the migration to VoIP environments for enterprises that have been considering upgrading or expanding their current circuit-switched networks, but are reluctant to do so considering that the migration to VoIP will render the new phones useless which means the investment will be a complete waste.
In a release, Paul Waadevg, principal consultant at Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert), said, "The analog to IP transition is progressing as expected. IP systems accounted for 79.5 percent of 2010 market revenues and the share of analog revenue is expected to shrink to less than seven percent at the end of 2017."
The Polycom SoundStation Duo which has been designed to function in small to midsize meeting rooms or in rooms of up to 400 square feet, is a versatile conference phone which will offer enterprise customers benefits which include use of the SoundStation Duo within analog or VoIP environments and quick upgrade via easy and simple to use online software upgrades and business continuity as the phone can automatically switch to analog mode and switch back to VoIP mode when the connection is restored.
